Ethereal, meaning delicate, light, and heavenly, was inspired by my time in Leipzig, Germany during study abroad. While visiting the Christmas markets, we stepped into Saint Nicholas Church where a choir’s carols and hymns echoed through the grand columns and rounded ceiling. I was struck by the beauty of the architecture, the delicate star hanging in the promenade, and the sense of awe and wonder that filled the space. Though I couldn’t understand the language, I knew who they were singing about.
